FLUX / PRIVACY

Your App Store data stays yours.

Flux is built to help you work with your App Store Connect data without creating another account or sending that data through a service hosted by 10:00 am.

Effective and last updated:

01 / INFORMATION FLUX HANDLES

The information needed to show and manage your apps.

App Store Connect credentials

To connect Flux to App Store Connect, you provide an issuer ID, key ID, and private API key. Flux uses them to authenticate requests that you make to Apple.

App and business data

Flux can retrieve information associated with your App Store Connect account, including apps and metadata, analytics and sales reports, downloads, purchases, proceeds, retention, product-page performance, reviews, ratings, crashes, versions, builds, and release status. The exact information available depends on your App Store Connect role and the features you use.

Content you create

Flux handles content you choose to prepare or submit, such as version descriptions, release notes, app metadata, review replies, campaign links, and screenshots. When you submit or publish that content, Flux sends it to Apple at your direction.

Keyword and storefront data

When you track rankings, Flux stores the keywords, countries, devices, and historical positions you choose to follow. Flux queries Apple’s public storefront services to calculate those rankings.

Flux usage and purchase information

Flux records limited product-usage events, such as app sessions, lifecycle events, screens viewed, onboarding progress, and interactions with subscription or purchase flows. If you buy a subscription or other product, Apple processes the transaction. We do not receive your payment-card details.

02 / HOW FLUX USES IT

To provide Flux and improve how it works.

Flux uses the information described above to:

  • load, organize, and visualize your App Store performance;
  • track keyword rankings and compare releases;
  • let you prepare, submit, and manage App Store content;
  • display reviews and send replies you choose to publish;
  • sync selected settings between your Apple devices;
  • restore purchases and determine access to paid features; and
  • understand which parts of Flux are used and improve reliability and usability.

We do not sell or rent your information. We do not use your App Store Connect data to advertise to you or others.

03 / STORAGE AND SYNC

On your device and in your private iCloud account.

Credentials

Your App Store Connect API credentials are stored in Apple Keychain on your device using device-only protection. They are not sent to or stored on servers operated by 10:00 am.

Imported App Store data

Imported analytics, reports, reviews, releases, and related App Store data are stored locally on your device. Flux does not require a 10:00 am account and does not route this data through a 10:00 am backend.

iCloud

Selected organization settings—including folders, app visibility preferences, compartments, and keyword or ranking settings—may sync through private CloudKit databases associated with your Apple account. Apple operates iCloud and processes that data under its privacy terms.

No method of storage or transmission is completely secure. We use platform protections designed to reduce risk, but cannot guarantee absolute security.

04 / SERVICES FLUX USES

Apple provides the data and infrastructure. Amplitude helps us improve Flux.

Apple

Flux communicates with App Store Connect, Apple storefront services, iCloud, and StoreKit. Apple may receive account, device, network, and transaction information as part of operating those services.

APPLE PRIVACY POLICY ↗

Amplitude

We use Amplitude as a service provider for limited analytics about how Flux itself is used. This is separate from the planned feature that may one day let you connect your own Amplitude project as a product-data source. We do not intentionally include your App Store Connect credentials, imported reports, or app business metrics in Flux usage events.

AMPLITUDE PRIVACY POLICY ↗

We may also disclose information if required by law, or when reasonably necessary to protect the rights, safety, and security of users, 10:00 am, or others.

05 / YOUR CHOICES

You decide what Flux can reach.

  • You choose the role and permissions attached to the App Store Connect API key you provide.
  • You can revoke that key at any time in App Store Connect.
  • You can remove the saved connection from Flux and delete the app to remove locally stored data.
  • You can manage Flux’s iCloud data and iCloud availability through your Apple account and device settings.
  • Data already submitted to App Store Connect remains with Apple and is controlled through your Apple account.

We retain information only for as long as needed for the purposes described here, subject to your device and iCloud settings and the retention practices of Apple and Amplitude.

06 / OTHER DETAILS

Children, international processing, and changes.

Children

Flux is a professional tool for App Store developers and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

International processing

Apple and Amplitude may process information in countries other than the one where you live. Their privacy policies explain the safeguards they use for international transfers.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Flux changes. When we do, we will revise the date at the top of this page. If a change materially affects how Flux handles information, we will provide additional notice where appropriate.
